There is so much expression here. Feels like death, depression, almost a hopeless feel. I like this.. I like this a lot. The lightening is nuts, and nuts as in... it is crazy good. It goes from very dark tones and then lighter tones. Good use of the greyscale! Her expression is dry and bland, which is good for this becuase it gives it a "I have no emotion" feel therefore making the image even more sad. however with the light coming down from her... almost makes a hopeful feel. Having that light there to guide to a lighter happy place in life. Uhm, one flaw from the photograph is maybe it is a bit toooooo tooo dark from the left side. It would be nice to see more of the girls position and see where her arms are. It is a bit overly shadowed. It does make it artistic, however seeing someones positioning in a photo can add to the emotion and add some tension. I also enjoy how this almost looks like it was taken with a film camera. I love the vintage dark feel to this image. You did a great job!
